are brain tumors hereditary?

Long story short the doctors found something in his brain and are operating tomorrow to get it out.
Im worried it might be a tumor because there is a possibility it is. They caught it soon enough i hope so it wont do much damage to him. However I was wondering that if it IS a tumor is it possible that I might inherit one too?
